Summary
In Japanese-occupied Shanghai during World War II, a young Chinese drama student becomes part of a resistance group plotting to assassinate a powerful collaborator working for the puppet government. Posing as the wife of a businessman, she seduces her target and is drawn into a dangerous, intimate entanglement that tests her loyalties and resolve.
