Summary
Recently released from a psychiatric institution, Jessica retreats to a rural Connecticut farmhouse with her husband and a friend, hoping for peace and recovery. Their stay is unsettled by a mysterious drifter already squatting in the house and by townspeople who seem strangely hostile, while Jessica begins hearing voices and seeing visions she cannot trust. As the line between her fragile sanity and a possible supernatural threat blurs, she struggles to determine what is real.
