Summary
A journalist and his photographer girlfriend set out on a cross-country road trip researching famous murder sites for a book, sharing the ride with a rough-edged couple they barely know. As the miles pass, it becomes clear their traveling companion is far more dangerous than he first appeared.
Released in 1993, Kalifornia is a crime, drama and thriller film.
Rotten Tomatoes carries a separate audience for the same title, 1,282 of whom clear the calibration test. Its in-cohort standing is measured against the other 4,081 1990s films, not against the whole corpus. The calibrated figure is built from 181 of its IMDb reviewers. A broader pool of 185 reviewers with two or more reviews feeds the raw-average track instead.
