Summary

Edinburgh professor Sir Oliver Lindenbrook and his student Alec McEwen decipher a message from a long-lost explorer pointing to a passage beneath an Icelandic volcano. Joined by a guide, a widow of a rival scientist, and a duck named Gertrude, they descend into a vast subterranean world of crystal caverns, prehistoric creatures, and the ruins of Atlantis, all while a saboteur trails them.
