Summary
Nine years after a catastrophic event killed millions and left their ghostly echoes, called Remnants, visible to the living, teenager Veronica Calder spots a Remnant who breaks the rules by interacting with her and leaving a threatening message. Teaming with a classmate, she investigates the apparition's identity and uncovers a hidden danger tied to her own life.
