Summary
Based on Wally Lamb's novel, this miniseries follows Dominick Birdsey, a man burdened by the lifelong care of his identical twin brother Thomas, who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia. After Thomas commits a shocking act of self-mutilation in a public library, Dominick fights to free him from a maximum-security psychiatric facility while confronting family secrets, grief, and his own unraveling life.
