Summary
Inspired by a true story, the film follows Bart Millard, lead singer of the Christian band MercyMe, as he channels a painful childhood under an abusive father into songwriting. Years later, after a strained reconciliation with his transformed dad, Bart writes the song 'I Can Only Imagine,' which becomes one of the best-selling Christian singles of all time.
