Summary
A disgraced former college basketball coach takes over a small-town Indiana high school team in the 1950s, clashing with skeptical townspeople and a troubled alcoholic assistant as he tries to mold a tiny squad of farm boys into contenders. Drawing inspiration from the real-life Milan Miracle, the team's underdog run captures the heart of a community.
