Summary
Set in the 1860s during the construction of the First Transcontinental Railroad, the series follows Cullen Bohannon, a former Confederate soldier seeking revenge against the Union soldiers who killed his wife. He takes a job as foreman on the Union Pacific railroad, working alongside a diverse crew of freedmen, immigrants, and opportunists in the lawless traveling town of Hell on Wheels.
