Summary
In 1965 Saigon, irreverent Air Force DJ Adrian Cronauer is brought in to host a radio show for U.S. troops, where his manic comedy and rock-and-roll playlists make him a hit with soldiers but infuriate his by-the-book superiors. As he befriends a young Vietnamese woman and her brother, the realities of the war begin to collide with the sanitized broadcasts he is allowed to air.
