Summary
Three lifelong friends and retired steel workers, played by Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Alan Arkin, find their pensions wiped out by a corporate restructuring. Desperate to provide for their families, they hatch a plan to rob the very bank that handled their pensions. The remake of the 1979 film follows their bumbling but determined efforts to pull off the heist without getting caught.
