Summary
A wealthy family arrives at their lakeside vacation home for a relaxing holiday, only to be taken hostage by two polite young men in white gloves who subject them to a series of sadistic games. As the night unfolds, the captors taunt their victims and even the audience, breaking the fourth wall in a brutal meditation on violence in cinema. This is Michael Haneke's shot-for-shot English-language remake of his 1997 Austrian film.
Funny Games is a 2007 crime, drama and thriller film.
