Summary
In 1978, 12-year-old David Freeman falls into a ravine near his Florida home and wakes up to find that eight years have passed, though he hasn't aged a day. NASA discovers his memories are linked to a crashed alien spacecraft piloted by a quirky robotic intelligence called Max, and David must help the ship find its way home while figuring out how to return to his own time.
