Summary
A musical biopic tracing the rise of Eva Duarte from a poor Argentine girl to a radio and film actress, and ultimately to the powerful and beloved First Lady of Argentina as the wife of President Juan Peron. Narrated by the cynical revolutionary Che, the film follows her ambition, political influence, and devotion to the working class until her early death from illness.
