Summary
June Colburn, a straight-laced transplant from Indiana, arrives in New York for a finance job that comes with a company apartment, and loses both when her employer collapses in a Ponzi scheme. Broke, she takes a room with Chloe, a scheming party girl who normally pockets a roommate's deposit and drives them out within days. Instead of fleeing, June stays, and the two settle into an antagonistic friendship alongside Chloe's best friend James Van Der Beek, playing a vain fictional version of himself chasing a career comeback. The ABC sitcom, created by Nahnatchka Khan, ran two seasons of single-camera comedy about their mismatched Manhattan life.
