Summary
In May 1940, Winston Churchill becomes Prime Minister of Britain at age 65 as Nazi forces sweep across Europe. Facing pressure from his war cabinet and politicians to negotiate peace with Hitler, Churchill must inspire the British people and rally his government to continue fighting despite seemingly insurmountable odds.
