Summary
Set in the 1970s on a Navajo reservation in the American Southwest, this neo-Western noir follows Tribal Police Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn and his new deputy Jim Chee as they investigate a double murder. The pair, joined by Sergeant Bernadette Manuelito, navigate cultural tensions, federal interference, and personal demons while pursuing crimes that intersect with Navajo tradition and outside forces.
