Summary
In a near-future where humans have enslaved apes as servants after a plague wiped out cats and dogs, Caesar, the secretly intelligent chimpanzee son of Cornelius and Zira, is forced into hiding in a brutal city. As he witnesses the cruelty inflicted on his kind, he begins quietly organizing his fellow apes toward open revolt against their human masters.
