Summary
Nigerian-born forensic pathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu, working in a Pittsburgh coroner's office, discovers a degenerative brain disease he names chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) in deceased NFL players. As he publishes his findings, he faces fierce resistance from the National Football League, which tries to discredit his research and silence him, while he fights to make the truth public.
