Summary
After a wealthy American friend of the President is murdered by a Colombian drug cartel, CIA analyst Jack Ryan is thrust into the role of acting Deputy Director of Intelligence. As he investigates, he uncovers a covert, unsanctioned war waged by the U.S. government against the cartel, and must confront the corruption reaching the highest levels of the White House.
