Summary
Two British runners pursue gold at the 1924 Paris Olympics for very different reasons: Harold Abrahams, a Jewish Cambridge student driven to overcome prejudice through victory, and Eric Liddell, a devout Scottish missionary who runs because he believes it honors God. Their parallel journeys collide with class, faith, and national expectation on the road to the Games.
