Summary
Veteran race car Lightning McQueen is suddenly outpaced by a new generation of high-tech rookies led by the sleek Jackson Storm, leaving his career in jeopardy. Teaming up with eager young trainer Cruz Ramirez, Lightning seeks out the roots of his late mentor Doc Hudson to figure out how to compete again and decide what kind of racer he wants to be.
