Summary
In the slums of Beirut, a hardened 12-year-old boy named Zain sues his parents from prison for the crime of giving him life. Through flashbacks, the film traces his struggle to survive after fleeing home, including his bond with an undocumented Ethiopian migrant and her infant son, as he navigates poverty, child labor, and a world indifferent to children.
