Scored from 130 calibrated IMDb reviewers. Cohort: Films · 2000s (7,847 peers).
Summary
A nameless Tibetan monk has spent decades guarding a mystical scroll that grants its protector limitless power, and now must find his prophesied successor before a Nazi-descended villain seizes it. He crosses paths with Kar, a scrappy New York pickpocket trained on kung fu movies, and reluctantly takes him on as a student while staying one step ahead of their pursuers.
Released in 2003, Bulletproof Monk is an action, comedy and fantasy film.
Its in-cohort standing is measured against the other 7,846 2000s films, not against the whole corpus. A second review pool sits behind it as well: 2,309 Rotten Tomatoes reviewers clear the same calibration test, and Rankquant scores them separately. 130 IMDb reviewers are calibrated for this title, and those are the ones the calibrated score reads; a separate, broader pool of 133 reviewers with at least two reviews each feeds the raw-average track.
