Summary
A documentary film crew follows Leslie Vernon, an aspiring slasher who plans to join the ranks of legends like Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees by staging his own killing spree in a small town. As Leslie methodically prepares his ambush of a group of teens and his chosen 'survivor girl,' the crew begins to question how far they are willing to go in the name of journalism.
