Summary
Two itinerant lawmen, Virgil Cole and his partner Everett Hitch, are hired by the New Mexico town of Appaloosa to bring order after a ruthless rancher and his men murder the previous marshal. Their job grows complicated when a charming widow arrives and entangles herself with Cole, testing the partners' long bond as they try to bring the killer to justice.
