Summary
In a near-future society where everyone's vision is recorded and identities are constantly visible through an augmented-reality grid, a detective investigating a series of murders discovers a young woman who has no identity and leaves no record. As he hunts her, he is drawn into a dangerous game where the killer can manipulate what people see, forcing him to question whether anything he perceives is real.
