Summary
A spirited red-haired orphan girl living in a Depression-era New York City orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan is selected to spend a publicity-driven week at the lavish mansion of billionaire Oliver Warbucks. As Warbucks grows fond of Annie and offers to adopt her, she clings to hope of finding her real parents, prompting schemes from those who would exploit her longing.
