Summary
Baltimore defense attorney Arthur Kirkland is pushed to the edge by a corrupt, dysfunctional legal system. When a despised judge he has openly feuded with is charged with a brutal crime, Kirkland is blackmailed into defending him, forcing a moral reckoning over the line between justice and the law.
