Summary
In early 1960s London, bright sixteen-year-old schoolgirl Jenny is on track for Oxford when she meets David, a charming older man who sweeps her into a glamorous world of concerts, jazz clubs, and trips to Paris. As she grows infatuated with this sophisticated life, she begins to question the value of her studies, until uncomfortable truths about David force her to reconsider what a real education means.
