Summary
In the summer of 1987, a recent college graduate's European travel plans fall apart, forcing him to take a menial job running carnival games at a rundown Pittsburgh amusement park. Among his quirky coworkers, he falls for a smart, troubled young woman who is hiding a complicated entanglement of her own, and the summer becomes a coming-of-age crash course in love, disappointment, and growing up.
