Summary
Ove is a grumpy, isolated widower whose rigid routines and suicide attempts are repeatedly interrupted by his boisterous new neighbors, a young Iranian-Swedish woman named Parvaneh and her family. As their lives become entangled, flashbacks reveal the love story with his late wife Sonja that shaped him, and his frozen heart slowly begins to thaw.
