Summary
This dark, revisionist BBC/FX miniseries reimagines Dickens's tale as a bleak psychological reckoning. On Christmas Eve, the cruel miser Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the tormented ghost of his former partner Jacob Marley, who warns him that three spirits will force him to confront the moral weight of his past, present, and future. The journey strips Scrooge bare, exposing buried trauma and the human cost of his cold pursuit of profit.
