Summary
A wealthy countess is murdered at her secluded bayside estate, triggering a violent chain reaction as heirs, neighbors, and opportunists scheme to claim the valuable property. As bodies pile up, greed and betrayal drive an escalating series of brutal killings around the bay. Mario Bava's proto-slasher is a landmark of Italian giallo and a major influence on later stalk-and-kill horror.
