Summary
In the days following Pearl Harbor, panic grips Southern California as residents, soldiers, and civilians brace for a feared Japanese invasion. A Japanese submarine lurks off the coast, a wild USO dance erupts into a brawl, a tank crew rampages through Hollywood, and a hotheaded pilot chases imaginary enemies across Los Angeles, culminating in a chaotic night of misfired anti-aircraft fire and slapstick destruction.
