Summary
Set during the California Gold Rush, a young woman sold into prostitution as a child meets a devout farmer who believes God has called him to marry her. As he offers her unconditional love, she struggles to escape the shame and trauma of her past and accept that she is worthy of redemption. Based on Francine Rivers's novel, itself inspired by the biblical Book of Hosea.
