Summary
Turo is a shy twenty-five-year-old care-home worker in a small northern Finnish village who has sung for twelve years in a metal band that has never written an original song or played a gig, rehearsing in the basement of a reindeer slaughterhouse. A Norwegian festival promoter turns up at the slaughterhouse, hears them and takes a demo; when nothing comes of it, the band lets the village believe it has been invited to Northern Damnation, Norway's biggest metal festival, names itself Impaled Rektum and sets out for the border. Turo must also find the nerve to talk to Miia at the village flower shop, where a schlager-singing car dealer is courting her. A Finnish comedy directed by Juuso Laatio and Jukka Vidgren.
